The Tax Administration of Kosovo (ATK) and the Regulatory Authority for Electronic and Postal Communications (ARKEP) signed a cooperation agreement today, as part of efforts to strengthen communication for the implementation of the objectives set by the legislation in force. The General Director of TAK, Ilir Murtezaj, said that the agreement helps in the exchange of information for the operators authorized by ARKEP as well as the necessary information required by TAK, based on the responsibilities and powers defined in the laws. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Board of ARKEP Nazim Rrahimi, pledged that ARKEP will use all the materials and information received under this agreement only for the purposes of supervisory activities, as authorized by the legislation in force and in accordance with this agreement. Otherwise, agreements such as this help the tax authority to have easier access to the information needed in tax matters.
