The Government of Kosovo is not supporting the important projects of the Municipality of Pristina due to political conflicts. This is what the deputy mayor of the Municipality of Pristina, Alban Zogaj, has said, and he does not rule out the possibility of holding the elections for the Municipal Assembly in Pristina in the fall as a result of the lack of enough votes for the 2025 budget.

Zogaj said that many of the projects planned over the years have already started to be realized in the spring season. Meanwhile, according to him, the "Road A" project is expected to be released for traffic, while the "Agim Ramadani" road underpass project is under tender.

The Vice-Mayor of the Municipality of Pristina, Zogaj, in an interview for KosovaPress, states that the main project is the one of "Georxh Bush" square, which is planned to be finished this year and according to him, it will be ready by 2025.

While talking about the investments in the capital, he said that the projects are targeted and will change the appearance of the capital.

The vice-president of Pristina, Zogaj, said that projects for the capital are being planned, but that their realism is not being supported by the government. Zogaj said that it is the Government's responsibility to allocate funds for projects in the capital, but that something like this has not happened.

He said that the government is neglecting the projects of the capital because of what he says are political clashes.

Zogaj, citing the government's lack of support, said that due to the lack of a parliamentary majority, the 2025 budget may not be voted on, but that as a parliamentary municipality they are planning to create a majority. Zogaj said that in this situation, one cannot help but think about new elections./A. Drenica
