After the serious incident in the high security prison in Peqin, where Sokol Mjacaj shot and killed the convict Arben Lleshi and injured two other people, the director of the prison Kamber Hoxha and 12 other employees have been arrested.

Earlier, Sokol Mjacaj stated that he had secured the weapon more than a month and a half ago. It is suspected that he had accomplices to introduce the weapon into the prison because it does not appear that they introduced it with a drone.

Mjacaj says that he killed Arben Lleshi because he had a fight with him, after he accepted in the sector. But the prosecution has suspicions of organized murder against payment.
