The Kosovo Police, in the wake of the activities for the prevention of trafficking in human beings and in particular children, has drawn up the operational plan "Identification of children in street situations as possible victims of trafficking April 2024". The operational plan has been implemented throughout the territory of Kosovo. , in the period April 15-27, 2024 from all the regional units of the DHTQNJ, the prosecution offices in the respective regions, the Center for social work, the Directorate for Migration and Foreigners.

On this occasion, 54 alms-seekers from Kosovo were identified, of which 22 adults and 32 children, as well as 22 alms-seekers from Albania, of which 15 adults and seven children. During the implementation of this plan, 18 criminal cases were initiated, with 16 suspects, as well as one deported person.
