The Privatization Agency of Kosovo (AKP) today, at the opening ceremony of sales offers number 65 through the liquidation method, announced the temporary winners for the assets of social enterprises available for sale. For 26 assets that were for sale, a total of 68 offers were accepted and the total value of the highest offers was 2 million 306 thousand 680 euros. Muharrem Arifi, acting deputy executive director - operative in KPA, said that the distribution of 20% to workers is continuing, where 163 million 379 thousand 229 euros have been distributed so far, while the total number of beneficiaries of 20% is 52.092 .

He also announced that 2 thousand 939 different assets have been privatized so far, while 784 million 114 thousand 302 euros have been accumulated in the Trust Funds. Meanwhile, the amount of funds distributed to legal creditors is 61 million 700 thousand 360 euros for 307 social enterprises in liquidation. KPA was established by the Assembly of Kosovo and operates throughout the country. The agency has the mandate and authority to sell or transfer social enterprises and their assets to private investors always through an open, transparent, competitive and delay-free process.
