A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck Indonesia on Saturday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported. The epicenter of the earthquake was 102 kilometers south of Banjar, West Java, at a depth of 68.3 kilometers below the surface. There are no reports of casualties or material damage. Another magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck Japan today, with no immediate reports of loss of life or damage to infrastructure, according to Kyodo News.
