Former Slovenian president Borut Pahor is preparing a draft framework for continuing the dialogue, but he wants to coordinate with the head of European diplomacy, EU member states and Quintin first. The news was made known by Pahor himself through a post on the X social network. Slovenia has previously shown the desire to succeed Miroslav Lajčak in the post of EU emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and this has been supported by President Robert Golub and the head of diplomacy Tanja Fajon.
"Former President Pahor is preparing a draft outline for continuing the dialogue, but he wants to first coordinate it with the High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Borrell, and the EU member states, especially the Quint countries" . "Regarding the questions former President Pahor is receiving in anticipation of his role as EUSR candidate for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and other WB regional issues, he is currently not answering any questions or interview requests until the second announcement", wrote Pahor. Lajcak has a mandate for the dialogue until September, when he will take up his new position as EU ambassador to Switzerland. No one has been officially appointed to his current position yet.
