The Chamber of Commerce of Kosovo has reacted after yesterday's detention of citizens from Kosovo on the border between Serbia and Croatia, by the authorities of Serbia, assessing it as an unacceptable, harmful action and contrary to the spirit of cooperation and integration that Kosovo promotes. but also contrary to EU values and principles aimed at by the entire region.

OEK emphasizes that the citizens of Kosovo, the businesses of Kosovo, have shown that they are open to cooperation with everyone without distinction, but they expect the same from the peoples and other states of the region.

"We appeal to everyone to take measures so that free movement between the countries of the Western Balkans is not hindered and that the citizens and businesses of Kosovo are treated equally with all others. As long as we welcome the reaction of the local and international instances, we appeal to the EU institutions in particular to take concrete steps so that the regional integration steps as principles of the Berlin Process and a prerequisite for EU membership are respected by all countries of the Western Balkans", says the reaction.
