Within the framework of the official visit to Hungary for participation in the ministerial of Defense Cooperation of Central Europe and the Western Balkans, the Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci also participated in the Security Forum that is taking place for the first time in Budapest. During the speech at the panel on "Central Europe and the Western Balkans in the new European security architecture", the minister Maqedonci has expressed the position that Kosovo's strategic orientation and aspiration for NATO and EU membership has no other alternative. "I used the opportunity to inform those present about the development of the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force and the way forward based on the General Transition Plan as well as the needs in accordance with recent developments in the general security environment", he wrote Maqedonci on Facebook.
Ministers Maqedonci during his stay in Budapest, he was hosted by his Hungarian counterpart Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, with whom they discussed the security situation in the region and mutual cooperation in the field of defense.
