The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has said that the vote in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is a call for the Committee of Foreign Ministers to deal with Kosovo's application for membership in May.

Kurti said that the successful result of voting in the assembly is an extraordinary success for the country that shows the vitality and successful engagement of Kosovar diplomacy.

However, he added that after this success of Kosovo, Serbia retaliated by detaining over 20 hours hundreds of citizens of Kosovo at the border points.

He said that among those detained is also the deputy director of the Kosovo Police, Dejan Jankovic, who has been sent to custody in Raskë.

At today's government meeting, 10 million euros were allocated for the implementation of measure 2.2 to support businesses for access to finance of the package for economic revival./KosovaPress/
