The Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers Hekuran Murati and the Vice President for Europe and Central Asia at the World Bank Antonella Bassani have signed the Agreement for the Financing of Development Policies for Fiscal Policy, Competitiveness and Green Growth between the Republic of Kosovo and the World Bank.

The announcement states that this financing amounts to 90 million euros and is made possible after Kosovo has completed the actions that were agreed with the World Bank, such as strengthening fiscal and macroeconomic stability, increasing the efficiency of public spending, creating an environment favorable for investment and the beginning of the transition to a green economy.

"The World Bank's decision to support the Republic of Kosovo confirms the commitment of the Government to support development policies as well as to continue the implementation of projects of interest to the citizens of Kosovo", the announcement states.
