Illegal pharmaceutical products are confiscated in the north

The Pharmaceutical Inspectorate in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, on April 16, carried out an inspection action in the subjects that operated with medicinal products and equipment in North Mitrovica. These entities operated as a pharmacy even though they were not licensed according to the legal provisions in force in Kosovo, including a gas station. At the gas station "WOL Group" in Leshak, illegal products with the banner of Serbia were confiscated. Also, an inspection was carried out in several pharmacies such as: "Moja Apoteka" Pharmacy in Leshak, "Moja Apoteka" Pharmacy in Leposavic and "Tilia" Pharmacy.

These pharmacies have had their pharmaceutical activity stopped and they have been instructed to license their activities, according to the legislation in force in the country. While pharmaceutical activity has been banned at the gas station. The Ministry of Health warns that activities that harm the health of citizens will be sanctioned throughout the country, without distinction.
