Seven billion and 500 million euros are the assets of commercial banks in the Republic of Kosovo, while the amount of citizens' deposits reaches 6.05 billion euros. This is stated in the statistics of commercial banks for the month of March 2024, published by the Central Bank of Kosovo (CBK), adding the value of gross loans has reached 5.09 billion euros with an increase of 132.0 million euros.

According to the report, the capital of commercial banks for this month was 868.56 million euros. Furthermore, CBK shows that the value of new loans was 241.20 million euros, while the amount of new deposits reached 69.70 million euros.

Likewise, the average interest rate on deposits was 2.71%, while the average interest rate on loans was 6.24%, where in the previous month it was 6.34%. The loan-deposit ratio for this month was at the level of 84.70%, while the interest rate margin on loans and deposits was 3.53%.
