The meeting of the Committee for Budgets, Labor and Transfers lasted about four hours, whose members reviewed a series of financial reports of several institutions, but there was no quorum for approval. There was no quorum even for the approval of the agreement for social housing and the construction of a sewage treatment plant in Ferizaj. At today's meeting of this commission, the loan agreement between Kosovo and the Development Bank of the Council of Europe for the adequate social housing project was reviewed. The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, said that this agreement is worth 25 million euros and enables the development of the social housing system in the country.
The opposition has reacted to this, where the deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, said that this agreement was not on the agenda. He emphasized that the government has deceived the citizens in the electoral campaign, by promising them social housing. The deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Mërgim Lushtaku, also criticized, who said that the government is feeding the citizens with hopes.In the meeting of this commission, the financial reports of the Information and Privacy Agency, the Corruption Prevention Agency and the Independent Supervisory Council for Civil Service were examined, but there was no quorum for their approval.
