Musa Damati, the lawyer of the deputy of AAK, Pal Lekaj, in an interview for KosovaPress, said that the case of 53 million has ended with the review of the court of first instance, while now it has gone to the second instance.

He said that this decision is voluminous with 167 pages where, according to him, it contains major procedural violations and also deficiencies in the legal aspect.

According to the lawyer of former minister Lekaj, he will confirm his innocence, but it will be a little more difficult in the court of appeal, says Damti.

The Basic Court in Pristina in January 2024 announced the verdict in the case known as "53 million".
