With the motto "Thank you Kosovo", the people of Ulcinj organized the traditional dinner to express their thanks to Kosovo for the loyalty that our country has been giving to Ulcinj and the surrounding areas for years. The people of Ulcinj consider Kosovo to be irreplaceable partners in all aspects, touristic, cultural, educational, business as well as family.

At the gala evening thanking Kosovo with over 500 attendees that was held on Thursday, the people of Ulcinj promised continued hospitality for Kosovar tourists, including the diaspora. The people of Ulcinj also place special emphasis on joint investments between the owners of hotels in Kosovo and those in Ulcinj.

For this year, full innovation was promised in the provision of tourist services as well as in meeting the requirements of Kosovar tourists.

On this occasion, the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said that tourism remains the main pillar of relations between Kosovo and Ulcinj. She said that Kosovo is the second home of Ulcinj, just as Ulcinj has always been the home of Kosovo.
"Kosovo and Ulcinj have shared for centuries not only merchants and artisans but also poets and thinkers, and those who have worked on continuous empowerment in building an unparalleled respect among our citizens. In particular, tourism remains the main pillar of these relations, the frequent visits of the citizens of Kosovo and Ulcinj are a living proof of this special connection, the beaches of Ulcinj and every corner of this municipality have become a second home for every Kosovar, where they find not only relaxation and fun but above all the warm hospitality of their brothers and sisters. Of all the places I've visited, Ulqin ranks first and is our family's favorite place. I believe that this is the most honest assessment and this can be confirmed by my daughters who can't wait to visit Ulcinj again. Prishtina and the whole of Kosovo will be the same, a second home, as Ulqin has always been and has proven in times of war for all Kosovars", emphasized Osmani.

Even the Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, said that the continuous cooperation with Montenegro will build a better future for all citizens. He said political, economic and cultural investments should be increased between the two states.
"The wonderful riviera of Ulcinj is a favorite destination for Kosovars who appreciate the peace that the sea offers. Even the warm hospitality of the inhabitants of this city and its rich historical and cultural heritage, Ulcinj is more than a coastal city. Cooperation with Montenegro is evidence of our efforts to build a better future for all citizens. By increasing investments and cooperation in various fields such as politics, economy and culture, we aim to deepen our relations. I have a close family relationship with Ulqin, for me Ulqin was the sea of my childhood until I was 30 years old, I never went on vacation to any other coast. I hope that in Ulcinj as a municipality, local buses and shops will be added to the villages on the side of the mountain. Even more than in Ulcinj, I spent my childhood in Sukobina, and the bus driven by "Bahria i Rrustë" and the store "Dyli i Dili" were worth no less than the beach. added Kurti.

Meanwhile, the mayor of the Municipality of Ulcinj, Omer Bajraktari, emphasized that many major investments on the coast are Kosovar investments.
"Ulcinj is experiencing its own time of tourism transformation, we believe that sustainable tourism is an approach that will balance the preservation of the environment and the protection of cultural heritage. Major investments are being made in Ulcinj in infrastructure, water supply and sewerage that have not been made in decades. In the construction of the superior hotel, most of the realism will be done by investors from Kosovo. As well as the "Jagra" hotel, another big project where the investor will also be from Kosovo, these and many other projects will strengthen our ties and make Kosovo closer to us. This year, we invite you to come to your Ulcinj, as you know from the traditional hospitality of the Ulcinians. We have welcomed the liberalization of visas with joy, but we are sure that wherever you go, you cannot without coming to Ulcinj", said Bajraktari.

Likewise, the director of the Tourist Organization in Ulcinj, Qazim Hoxhiq, said that the number of visitors from Kosovo in Ulcinj is increasing and for this reason, the coastal part of Ulcinj is being worked on to meet the requirements.
He said that he is working on fulfilling my requestotshme for the construction of five-star hotels.
"I can state that the number of guests from Kosovo this year was impressive and reached 22%, if we add the diaspora, then the percentage would be even greater. We know that the number is much higher than the statistics show. We are working on the summer tourist season, all the permanent contacts we have with hoteliers that the demand for Ulcinj is increasing from year to year and this encourages us and made us to increase the quality in every aspect. This year there will be a number of innovations in the provision of services by the Tourist Organization, as well as the construction of five-star facilities is the need of the hour.", Hoxhic said.

The tourist season in Ulcinj will start in the next few days with the "May Fest" festival, to continue with many other concerts near the Ulcinj coast.
