"The pressure will be increased on Kosovo for the establishment of the Association in order to advance relations". This is what political analysts consider, after the failure of the initiative to remove the leaders in the north.

The same assess that yesterday the influence of the Serbian List on the local Serbs in North Mitrovica, Zveçan, Leposavić and Zubin Potok was clearly observed.

Former diplomat Blerim Canaj, in a statement for KosovaPress, said that yesterday's voting process was a failure, as according to him, it only revealed the influence of the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vuçiq of the Serbian List on Kosovo Serbs.

He added that with these elections, Kosovo lost 250 thousand euros while achieving nothing.

According to him, the government does not have a clear strategy for the integration of Serbian minorities in local institutions.

The main argument behind this situation, Canaj adds, will be the establishment of the Association.

This is also the opinion of the professor of political sciences, Dritëro Arifi, who considers that pressure will be added to Kosovo for the implementation of the Association.

However, Arifi says that Kosovo should be rewarded with the removal of sanctions.

The Serbs, according to him, should cooperate with the current presidents, since they themselves refused not to participate in the election process for their dismissal.

Meanwhile, the member of the Central Election Commission from the ranks of the PDK, Ilir Gashi, says that this result is in favor of the current presidents.

Gashi says that they were forced to organize a process that was based on the Administrative Instruction of the Government of Kosovo, which he says was unconstitutional from the beginning.

After the failure of yesterday's election process, the mayors have secured another year at the head of the municipalities, since the same cannot be organized in the next 12 months.

President Vjosa Osmani reacted to this, who considered the boycott of yesterday's process as a disaster. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has stated that the results of the impeachment vote show that there is no will to dismiss the current presidents.

Even the American Embassy in Kosovo has expressed regret for the non-participation of the Serbs in this election process.

German Ambassador Jorn Rohde has called the Serbian List's call for a boycott regrettable and destructive.

More than 46 citizens had the right to vote in the four municipalities in the north, while only 265 of them voted in total. /Sh. Pajaziti
