The anniversary of Elvis Presley's death
Elvis Presley was born on January 8, 1935 in Tupleo, and died on August 16, 1977 in Memphis. When he died, he was only 42 years old. He is considered one of the most prominent cultural figures of the 20th century, and is also known as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "The King". The king of rock&roll music, sex symbol, man with whom every woman wanted to be, has been fighting addiction for years. In the last year of his life, he was accompanied by doctors, bearing in mind that he had major problems with the liver, heart, digestive system, etc., and all this as a result of drug use. Elvis started his career in 1954. The discoverer of his talent was the founder of Sun Records, Sam Phillips. Elvis had come to the studio to sing a song for his mother's birthday. Shortly after that, he released the single "That's All Right" which immediately became a hit. He has participated in many television and radio shows, and his way of dancing and his movements have quickly become very attractive to the female sex. For the first time, he debuted in the film in 1956, in the film "Love Me Tender". He was the first singer whose concert (Aloha from Hawaii in 1973) was broadcast in more than 40 countries of the world. He has been nominated for a Grammy Award 14 times, and has won three Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards. Thanks to the great success in showbiz, Elvis has earned millions, spent a lot, and therefore shortly before his death he was bankrupt. The heir to his estate was Lisa Marie Prestley.
