The Mayor of the Municipality of Presheva, Albania Arifi, has announced that he has accepted the penalty of 55.000 dinars from the Court of Misdemeanors in Vranje regarding the installation of the national flag at the headquarters of Alternative for Change - Bujanoc branch, on the occasion of the celebration of November 28, Flag Day. .

Arifi wrote in a post on Facebook that 'the more rights for the Serbs in Kosovo, the less rights for the Albanians in Serbia. Until when?'.

According to him, this decision is part of the discriminatory collage and systematic violations of the individual and collective rights of Albanians in the Presheva Valley.

"The court in question has issued a decision regarding the installation of the Albanian national flag at the headquarters of our party in Bujanoc, in which case this penalty consists of 5000 dinars against me as the responsible person in the position of the chairman of the "Alternative for Change" party, meanwhile 50.000 dinars for the political entity that I ran until February of this year, when this decision was also dated," he wrote on Facebook.
