The EU Ambassador in Kosovo, Tomas Szunyog, in his first visit as part of the activities for the Europe Day and "EU Teach a day", today met with the students of the "Ibrahim Mazreku" school in the Municipality of Malisheva. near the students had the opportunity to ask questions and get more knowledge about the countries of the European Union as well as Kosovo's membership in the EU.

During the conversation with Ambassador Szunyog, the students were interested in asking about the relations that Kosovo has with the countries of the European Union, the support that the EU is giving to Kosovo, and many other questions that were answered for each of them. On the other hand, the same were tested by Ambassador Szunyog with various questions about EU countries. Some of the questions were, which is the richest country, how many countries does the European Union have, the meaning of the motto of the EU, and so on, for which the students tried to give the answers they know.

The Ibrahim Mazreku School in Malishevë is one of the many schools in Kosovo that are beneficiaries of support from the EU through various projects in infrastructure, efficiency, capacity building and many other areas. During the visit to Malishevë, the EU ambassador also met with the mayor of this municipality, Ekrem Kastrati, with whom they talked about the cooperation between the municipality and what the EU has offered and can offer, in terms of efficiency measures. infrastructure projects as well as other areas. They also talked about the population census in the municipality of Malisheva.

Meanwhile, during the following days, the visits will continue to 11 other schools in seven regions of Kosovo. During these visits, officials of the Office of the European Union in Kosovo and the Ambassador and representatives of the embassies of the member states of the European Union will meet the students of the schools of different communities to become more familiar with the EU.
