Serbia's approach to Kosovo, Konjufca requires commitment to guarantee security
Speaker of Parliament Glauk Konjufca, during a meeting today with KFOR commander Enrico Barduani, stated that the security situation in Kosovo is good, but Serbia's destabilizing approach and Russian intervention efforts in the region show the need for joint commitment to guarantee order and safety.
In this first meeting, President Konjufca thanked Major General Barduani for the visit and congratulated him on his new task at the head of the NATO mission in Kosovo.
He expressed his conviction that the cooperation between KFOR and Kosovo's institutions will continue to be deepened, saying that this report is very important for a better state of security in our country and more stable regional stability.
Whereas, the commander of KFOR expressed his willingness to engage in the direction of deepening the cooperation, in function of the ever greater strengthening of stability, with all the challenges that lie ahead.
