At least eight people have died and dozens more have been injured after the entrance part of the railway station in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, collapsed.

A large number of emergency teams, police and fire brigade are on the ground.

The accident happened shortly before 12 o'clock today. Several ambulances are still at the scene, while excavators and heavy machinery have also arrived to try to clear the fallen part of the building.
