They are extremely friendly. Now I have many friends, colleagues. I have the opportunity to continue my work as a journalist and to realize myself as an artist... It's unexpected for me, but for now everything is sold. And I feel that I need to paint more and more, because many people want to buy them. The next exhibition, I think, will be bigger.... I have some of my Ukrainian colleagues, volunteers. They are helping the Ukrainian army," said Makey.

She emphasized that when she paints, she heals by dreaming of peace in her country, Ukraine.
"Prishtina "It's my wonderful love. So, I get a lot of inspiration from my friends, from the wonderful nature, from the Germia Park. You know, it's very difficult when every day you read very sad news from Ukraine. And every shot and bombardment leaves a hole in my heart. So, when I paint, I heal. I dream of peace, of love, of happiness in our families," Makey emphasized.
The solo exhibition "Bright on Black" is open today and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m.
This exhibition is the third in a row by Ukrainian journalist Lyudmyla Makey.
