Foreign direct investments in Albania marked a record increase of 1,58 billion euros, an increase of 92 million euros or 5,6% compared to last year.

According to data from the Bank of Albania, the real estate sector continues to lead in total foreign investments, with 379 million euros, followed by the extractive industry with 214 million euros of investments, the processing industry with 173 million euros and electricity, where 166 million euros were invested, writes ​ATS.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, foreign investments reached 423 million euros, the vast majority of which was newly invested profit, it reports. ​KosovaPress.

Among the main partners with the highest investments in Albania are the Netherlands, Italy and Turkey.
