"We will be required to give up from Kosovo"

President of the Serbian Democratic Party and former Prime Minister of this country, Vojislav Kostunica said that the European Union will require Serbia to give up from Kosovo in order to win the starting date of talks for membership in EU.

He expressed his belief that the newly elected president of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, shall communicate this request to the Serbian people when Brussels will formally say this to him.

"The public in Serbia should know that the EU will soon start the pressures and harsh depreciations against Serbia, from which it will seek to fully give up from Kosovo on behalf of the dialogue for EU membership. Messages with such a content are now coming to Serbia from diplomats of the EU countries ", said Kostunica, say Serbian media.
