In this highway Serbs are staying as well in Leposaviq, however there is no barricade, but, as they said, they are there to control in order for Kosova police and customs officers not to reach there.
In the neutral zone Serbs have put barricade for transport vehicles in the end of previous month, dissatisfied with the circulation of transport vehicles, which were transporting commercial goods, by using legal border crossing points, and act that, according to people in barricades, presents installment and recognition of Kosova’s institutions.
The so=called Mayor of Leposaviq, Dragisha Vasic has stated earlier that in this way the citizens show the disagreement on the goals of Prishtina to integrate northern part and with this to complete their independence. On the other hand, KFOR has blocked the alternative roads for transport vehicles.
