Mayor of Peja, Ali Berisha praising the work of municipal departments has stressed the success of all departments, where he has ranked the Department of Administration as the most successful department, while in terms of collection of municipal funds, Mayor Berisha said that for these six months, the Department on Budget and Finance has collected 1 million 330 thousand euro, while for the same period, last year, were collected 1 million 193 thousand euro.
Berisha's report caused reactions of representatives from opposition parties in the Municipal Assembly of Peja, who said there were made major expenses of financial funds, almost in all municipal departments, where most of the departments have spent almost the entire budget planned to be spent during the year.
Sali Lajçi from PDK, criticizing the work of municipal leaders said that the municipality of Peja has mismanaged and spent only for six months almost all of the funds that had planned for goods and expenses for the entire year.
