The head of the NGO “Minatori 88/89”, Hajrullah Halili said that the gratitude is given to minister Makolli for his interest and commitment to support former miners who are living in bad conditions.
Makolli said that he is pleased to be among people who in addition to great work that they have done to build Kosova, they sacrificed everything as well for its freedom and independence.
“I am happy to be among you, however I feel privileged for being honored with your invitation and gratitude. It is the most important gratitude in my life, as it has a special meaning,” Makolli said.
According to him, miners were the main inspiration for entire resistance and activities that were undertaken to realize the freedom and independence of Kosova.
“Everyone in Kosova is proud of Trepça miners and many citizens of Kosova were raised from their work. Miners were among the main reasons for Kosova’s development, and in addition, in certain moments they changed as well the historical course in the interest of Kosova and its citizens,” Makolli said.
