The minister of Internal Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi said that this facility is technically well prepared, adding that now they have to think about the facility where the documents can be produced, as, according to him, it requires specific conditions.
“It provides optimal conditions for 150 employees in this center. At the same time, it will be easier for citizens of Prishtina, who until now had to apply in five places in order to get the documents and now all of them are in one place, thus there will be better and faster services,” Rexhepi said.
He said that although there were some delays in construction of the facility, which were mainly technical conditions, according to him, it is important that it is well constructed.
He said that the construction of the facility cost over 2.5 million euro.
“It has 4500 square meters, 6 floors + 2 in basement and it cost over 2.5 million euro, thus it is a facility with solid cost and useful,” Rexhepi said.
The facility of the Civil Registration Agency (CRA) is located near the Supreme Court in Prishtina.
