Transport expenses for students of war categories covered

The municipal officials said that this was done in order to help the families of war categories, who are facing economic and social problems.

The Mayor of Mitrovica, Avni Kastrati, together with the director for European Integration and Social Welfare, Kastriot Jashari, have distributed the decisions on these students in a meeting that was organized in municipal premises, said that this is a symbolic support for the students of families who have given everything for freedom.

“We consider that these families are facing economic problems, therefore we are doing everything to help them in all aspects,” Kastrati said.

He said that they will do everything to help these families, as since the end of the war they have lived in bad conditions. “We are determined to support these families in any situation, in frame of our possibilities,” Kastrati said.

Whereas, the director for European Integration and Social Welfare, Kastriot Jashari, which is the directorate that will pay the expenses of the transport of students, said that this decision was welcomed by the families of war categories.
