The Self-Determination movement has criticized the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo on its two documents, in that of Strategy of Economic Diplomacy and Strategy for Kosovo Recognitions, for which documents this movement leaders have said they are documents with many errors and that are not published for opinion yet. They have criticized the ministry for the delay in recognitions, degradation of outsourcing services, double structures, violation of laws and regulations. This movement has accused the ministry for functioning with expired documents.
On Thursday, Puhie Demaku, from Self-Determination Movement, has also accused the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that they have no foreign policy strategy.
She has presented in presence of media, the MFA "Strategy of Economic Diplomacy" document, which was named as a document with many errors and do not reflect reality for foreign investment in Kosovo.
Demaku: Economic Diplomacy Strategy does not reflect the country's economic potential
"Economic Diplomacy strategy, as the document is a summary of professional linguistic errors, there is no page of these 36 as a total, which does not contain these examples as follows. First: the mountainous regions of southern and western areas of the country offer potentials for providing sport world-class with opportunities of developing winter tourism sports, cultural and historical places of interest and superior kitchens and wines. Second: The power of the available work in Kosovo is much greater because of the extent of unemployment, various commentators put unemployment rate from 40 to 48 percent. But they want to count the workers in the black market of labor, whose number is not officially assessed and whose effect makes the unemployment number that can be just as important as their impact on tax revenues. It means, words and phrases that sound albanian, but they have no meaning. And third: Kosovo is a healthy and beautiful place on top of green and open fractures and dramatic mountains. In Pristina cafes are full of people in the afternoon, restaurants and clubs at night as well, people make deals, build, go out with children, do sports and greet each other with smiles and kisses on the street, "she said.
She added that this document was drafted in cooperation with experts from USAID and the U.S. and still can not even appear on the website of the MFA.
She added that instead this document to be as guide to the work of this ministry on how to attract foreign investments to Kosovo, the document contains many spelling and strategic mistakes.
While she talked about the second document, that of the "Strategy for recognition", said the document was approved long ago and has still not been made public. She said that within this document was designed another supplement, which according to her ,it is also not made public, with the justification it is confidential and it can be danger in accomplishment of goals.
Demaku: strategy for recognition was not made public by MFA
"The second document that I want to share with you, is the document of 'Strategy for recognition'. So it is the strategy for achieving full recognition of Kosovo state and this strategy is actually made public through the many people in foreign diplomatic networks, it was approved in June 2011, nearly a year ago, it was distributed by Kosovo institutions, to foreign diplomats and was never on the website. So once again I will remind you that it is a public document, in which you need to have access. And to achieve full recognition of Kosovo by other countries, the Ministry has drafted a supplement to this strategy, which has never been made public. But this supplement is not made public under the pretext that they must remain confidential to minimize opportunities for activities, or partners in implementation to be identified or to disable the fulfilling of goals, "she said.
According to her, the ministry considered this document very risky, but she thinks the worst action from this ministry was when it did not publish this document. / M.Mulaj /
