“There were some visits of representatives of opposition movements, not only Syrian, but as well of other countries, have visited Kosova, where they have exchanged the experiences. KLA is the most successful guerrilla fighting in the new history of the world and its experience as in the fight for freedom, as well as in successful transformation can be taken as lessons for others. However, we do not have any training camp for Syrian guerrillas,” Çitaku said.
She said that Kosova has strong presence of NATO and EULEX and such things could not happen, without coordination with international factor.
Whereas, the Russian ambassador in UN, Vitalij Curkin said to UN Security Council that Russia is concerned over the information that Syrian insurgents are being trained in Kosova. He said that if these reports are true, the presence of Syrian fighters in Kosova will undermine the international efforts to restore peace in Syria.
