The deputy prime minister, Xhaferi is visiting Kosova at the invitation of the prime minister of Kosova, Hashim Thaçi, and they had a meeting which was participated by the Foreign minister, Enver Hoxhaj.
However, following the meeting, the prime minister Hashim Thaçi did not make press statements, he was replaced by the Foreign minister, Enver Hoxhaj.
Xhaferi said that the meeting was focused on many issues, because, as he said, these two countries need to deepen the cooperation.
While talking about the recent incidents, the deputy prime minister Xhaferi said that the respective authorities should identify the authors of the crime as soon as possible, because, as he said, this is causing fear among the citizens.
“The Republic of Macedonia and our institutions are undertaking measures for such event not to have impact on the society and not to cause destabilization in general. The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the investigation should clarify the case in order not for citizens not to be concerned, because there is an insecurity among citizens,” Xhaferi said.
After being asked with regard to the special status for northern part, whether it could destabilize the region, Xhaferi said that he is not concerned over these opinions, adding that special status cannot be given for only one part.
