Goran Arsic and Novica Zivic were arrested after the accusations of some Serb citizens in Lipjan that they are pressuring them to participate in Serbia’s elections. They have threatened the Serbs that if they will not vote, they will be arrested when they will enter Serbia’s territory.
In a written statement that she has distributed to media, Trajkovic has emphasized that the arrest of two Serbs is continuation of the action of arrest because of Serbs in Kosova, which aims to transmit the message to others that they are undesirable in Kosova.
Trajkovic said that this prosecution is ethnically motivated and it cannot justify false statements of witnesses, nor the absurd reasoning of Kosova Police.
According to her, the arrest of Arsic for threatening those who have not wanted to vote in Serbia’s elections is not serious, considering that Arsic has called publicly and through media not to organize Serbia’s local elections in Kosova.
