Although it is not official yet, Naim Ferati is expected to be the candidate of the Alliance for the Future of Kosova (AAK) for the mayor of Ferizaj.
Ferati has been senior official of the New Kosova Alliance branch and now he is director of directorate for culture, youth and sports in municipality of Ferizaj.

The sources from AAK told Kosovapress that Ferati has received as well the support of senior officials of AAK for the candidature, including the meetings with the deputy chairpersons of AAK, Blerim Shala and Daut Haradinaj, where was decided for Ferati to be the acceptable candidate. The sources informed as well that Naim Ferati soon will lead the AAK branch, which is represented in municipal assembly of Ferizaj by three counselors.
A mobilization of other political parties as well was noticed recently.
The sources from the political parties talk about different names. In the Democratic Party of Kosova (PDK) two names were mentioned recently, Elmi Reçica and Agim Aliu, whereas today there were voices that the possible candidate from this party will be Mustafe Grainca, who has not approved, nor ruled out this possibility.
It is expected that the Democratic League of Kosova (LDK) tomorrow will present the candidate, which is believed to be the head of the branch in Ferizaj, Adem Salihaj, however the results of talks between LDK and LDD are not known yet, whereas LDD insists for the candidate to be from this political party.
