In the meeting that took place today, the deputy prime minister Kuçi, while talking about the review of the proposals for amending the Constitution of Republic of Kosova, said that the executive is preparing the adequate legislation for completion of supervised independence.
“As the Government of Kosova has taken the decision to prepare the adequate legislation for completion of supervised independence, with these proposals of amendment of the Constitution, we are finalizing our work that deals with legislation, which changes the supervision of Kosova’s independence and transfers the competences to local institutions,” Kuçi said.
According to him, pursuant to article 93, the point 9 and article 144 of the Constitution of Republic of Kosova, considering as well the resolution on completion of international supervision of independence, approved in January 2012 by Kosova’s Parliament and by the regulation of the government, the amending of Kosova’s Constitution is proposed with 22 amendments, which include the amending of positions and competences of the international civilian representatives.
