Professional schools less attractive to students

He was focused on tests held this year, saying that scholars of Ferizaj as in the graduation test as well as in achievement test, have achieved an increase compared to results of tests a year ago and said that installing the inspiration to teachers and reduction of absences are considered as the essential factors that have contributed to building of success.

"In the state graduation test was reached the height of 48.19 percent, for 15 percent more than last year, while the second part of the test that will be held during August and September will increase more this percentage. While in the achievement test we have an increase of 3.8 percent compared to last year," said Berisha.

Regarding the enrollment of students in tenth grade, the director Berisha stressed that this process has gone well in the first term in high schools, the approximate number of accepted students and free places to be filled within complementary term, is known.

According to the data, in several areas of high schools places are filled, as in "Faik Konica" school

of economics, while some places, in certain areas are still not filled. The director Berisha said, including the areas of these schools and professional schools, there are free places even for 803 students, while 1506 other students were confirmed to have been accepted based on criteria of MEST.

"We expect that in term of August also these students to be included in classes that must be filled," said director Berisha, adding that no student will remain out of school.

Once again, according to director of Municipal Department of Education, the professional schools did not attract the students, although these schools offer more areas and profiles with interest, which will provide opportunities to students to pass easier into labor market.
