Kuçi told Kosovapress that in the last two weeks he was on holiday with his family and he does not deal with these “minor issues”.
“No I do not deal with that issue. I can say that I have been for nine days in Durres, and you can get the invoice at the hotel, I have spent the time with my children. Do not worry because it is a minor issue for me to deal with,” Kuçi said.
However, recently it was said that Kuçi is preparing the path for the rector of UP to be the candidate from the ruling coalition, Ibrahim Gashi, who has resigned recently from the post of deputy minister of Foreign Affairs and deputy chairman of AKR. In addition, according to sources, Kuçi was engaged to increase the number of deans of faculties, who become members of the senate of University of Prishtina, to be supporters of PDK in order for them to elect the rector.
He also said that he will aim for more in his career and he will not accept to be deputy prime minister, however he said that he has no ambition for president.
