UCCK informed that based on the Memorandum with the Kosova Customs and AKPM, which foresees for seized medicines to be handed over to UCCK in form of donation, it has these medicines of “Hemofarm” company: Propafen 150mg tablets, Hidroklortiazid Amilorid 50mg, Sinelip Gemfibrozil 450mg, Redrirorrk 1.5mg and Diklofen retard 100mg.
These medicines have been used from the moment of starting implementation of Memorandum and there were not noticed side effects at the patients.
However, the Kosova Medicines Agency has undertaken all measures following the report published by the US Food and Drug Agency, which reads that it has noticed bacteria in the plants of Serbia’s pharmaceutical company “Hemofarm”, which cause the cease of lungs work and result with death.
The officials of AKPM and of Pharmaceutical Association of Kosova have called on citizens not to create panic, as Kosova has blocked import of “Hemofarm” products from January 2012.
