According to the press release of the commission, the companies that have submitted the applications for prequalification are: Albright Capital Management (USA), Avicenna Capital LLC in consortium with Twelve HORNBEAMS (United Kingdom, Poland), Columbia Capital and ACP Axos Capital Gmbh (USA, Germany), Elkos LLC (Kosova), Geni Capital (Luxembourg), M1 International Limited (British Virgin Islands), Monaco Telecom International SAM (Monaco), Turkcell (Turkey).
The high number of companies that are participating in the prequalification process shows that there is a great interest and competition for buying the stocks of this important public enterprise, reads the press release.
The offers will be evaluated by a professional commission consisted of officials of all ministries represented in governmental commission for privatization. The evaluation commission will be assisted as well by the transaction advisor.
The call for prequalification was announced on 25 June 2012, whereas in this period the transaction advisor has provided all clarifications requested by the companies interested to apply, over the form and content of the application for prequalification.
