The head of Kosova Chamber of Commerce, Safet Gerxhaliu said that elimination of payment of provision for Kosovar diaspora in the world and the acceleration of payments between the Kosovar and Albanian community is encouraging and proof the seriousness of BKT in Kosova, Albania, region and wider.
Whereas, the director of this bank, Suat Albayrak said that with the new law on banks, they will be able to offer more favorable loan conditions for clients based on Law on Islamic Banks.
He said that soon they will open this window as well for their clients in Kosova and this will be a new opportunity which will have impact on use of these funds, adding that they will reach to provide additional funds for investments in Kosova.
Moreover, in the meeting was said that BKT is the only one that prints and produces the credit cards in Kosova.
He said that they have eliminated all provisions from transfers in Kosova and Albania and this is an advantage, adding that they have eliminated the provisions of remittances to Kosova from diaspora. He said that they are trying to minimize the provisions on payments of clients.
It was promised that in addition to 23 offices in Kosova with 280 employees, this bank will open another three offices with 8 employees each, which will reach the amount of 900 000 euro of investments.
This bank, as part of Calik Group, according to its officials, will do everything to promote investments, to keep this continuity and economic development.
