During their protest in front of Kosovas Government, they said that they will continue protesting as long as the above mentioned institutions will neglect this decision.
The head of the trade union of workers of this factory, Ali Azemi said that they have no patience anymore.
Today we have come to inform the Government that there is no more patience, an efficient action is needed in order for workers right to be implemented according to Kosovas Constitution. Azemi said.
Azemi said that the Constitutional Court addressed the prime minister Hashim Thaçi and PAK with a special letter in order for this decision to be implemented by 17 December 2011, whereas according to him, this timeline was not respected.
In addition, according to Azemi, on 23 July 2012 the Constitutional Court has reminded the Government to approach seriously on the right of these workers.
The former workers of pipe factory announced that they will not stop with this protest.
If the Government, PAK and regular courts continue neglecting the implementation of this decision, we will not stop the protests, the protests will continue. The protests will be realized at the Government, regular courts and PAK, Azemi said.
The decision on compensation of the debt towards 912 former workers of pipe factory was taken in 2010.
