The US Embassy in Kosova has ruled out the statements of the Prime Ministers Office and the Ministry of Public Administration (MPA), that it has allocated a donation for the project E-cabinet dedicated to Kosovas Government. In addition, it is not clear how much will the E-cabinet cost.

On May 20, Kosovapress has reported that a request of the director of the Department of E-governance and Administrative Processes (DeQPA), Driart Elshani was enough, and no later than two weeks the secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Fitim Sadiku approved him the project E-cabinet worth 330.000 euro, and MPA had told Kosovapress that this amount was given considering a donation from ICITAP for E-cabinet.
The response that was sent to Kosovapress by US Embassy in Kosova rules out the allocation of such a donation, however it mentions that in September 2011 another project was completed for the Prime Ministers Office worth 250 000 dollars.
The electronic response of the US Embassy in Kosova reads that neither the US Embassy, nor ICITAP have not provided financing or other assistance for the project e-Cabinet of Kosovas Government, adding that in September 2011, the Embassy (through ICITAP) has completed another project worth 250 000 dollars for training and installing of hardware of information technology for Prime Ministers Office. It also reads that ICITAP is not responsible for planning, financing or implementing the project of E-cabinet.
Whereas the response of Ministry of Public Administration to Kosovapress reads that a donation for E-cabinet was received from US Embassy.
After contacting the officials of ZKM, it was confirmed that a donation from ICITAP worth 250 000 dollars was received for training and supply with hardware equipment for this project. Whereas, MPA was responsible to implement the project of software for the project E-cabinet, reads the response of MPA.
