For three months KEK has committed violations in three tenders

The coordinator of the project, Armend Pajaziti said today that the ministries have violated the legal provisions on 4 tenders, the public enterprises, KEK and PTK on 4 tenders and the municipalities on 3 tenders.

Pajaziti has shown as well the tenders that were violated by the ministries. According to him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the case of the tender “Supply with oil”, the Ministry of Culture in the procurement activity “Construction of the Sports Center in Municipality of Klina – second phase”, the Ministry for Communities and Return on the tender “Hotel services in MKK facility” and the Ministry of Infrastructure on the case of evaluating the tender “Maintenance services of section 1 to 5 of road nr. 7: the highway Morine-Merdare”.

Pajaziti said that the Public Procurement Examining Body has fined the Ministry of Infrastructure, which is worth 10 000 euro, as well has revoked the license of acting director of this ministry for exercising the activity in the field of public procurement.

Regarding the public enterprises, he said that KEK has committed three violations, whereas PTK only one violation.

“The public enterprises, KEK and PTK, have committed violations on four different tenders. KEK has committed violations on three tenders, on ‘supporting services on removal of wasteland’, on ‘supply with chemical material’ and on ‘supply with rubber tape’. Whereas, PTK on only one tender, ‘benefits on health insurance’. The four tenders of these enterprises were returned on reevaluation,” Pajaziti said.

The municipalities have committed violation on three tenders, the municipality of Prizren has committed one violation, the municipality of Gjilan has committed one violation and the municipality of Peja has committed one violation.

With regard to fines, FOL recommended to have higher fines, as well to fine the procurement officers, not only the institution.
