“It is true that due to the non-recognition of Kosova’s independence by Slovakia, many economic processes were avoided and this harms further advancement and I believe that we should have a proactive approach. In the economic viewpoint, to create possibilities for dialogue and partnership between Kosovar and Slovakian entrepreneurs and for this to be a platform that would have impact as well in other levels in order to realize a new reality on Kosova,” Markus said.
Whereas, Slavikova, following the participation in the conference organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Kosova, which was participated by countries that have not recognized Kosova, said that she believes that rapports of economic cooperation should be established.
Slavikova said that she will contribute to inform the enterprises and level of Slovakia over the possibilities of cooperation and thanked Gerxhaliu for offering information over the possibilities of cooperation in Kosova on the sectors and fiscal and customs policy in Kosova.
Gerxhaliu informed the representatives from Slovakia over the activities of Kosova Chamber of Commerce and the readiness that in partnership with the Tax Administration of Kosova, Kosova Customs, Privatization Agency of Kosova, to welcome a delegation from this country in order to inform them over the economic situation in Kosova, sectorial possibilities for cooperation and to contribute together on improvement of Kosova’s image, because, as it was stressed earlier, it is a problem that impedes the advancement of economic cooperation with Kosova.
