Beqaj said that the best promotion of foreign investments is done by trying to treat the local investors in best way and by trying to use the contacts to attract other investors.
“According to the data of Central Bank, exports are over 200 million euro. We have started as well the services that show that we have an economic growth, which enables to be present in quality products and services, not only in the regional market, but as well in other markets,” Beqaj said.
Whereas, the head of the Association of Kosova Exporters, Muhamet Imeri said that the companies can be blamed as well, because they have not created strong consortiums, whereas, according to him, the Government can evaluate the success by considering how to decrease the discrepancy between import and export.
Imeri said that naïve competition is that the manufacturing industry continues paying duty for some raw materials for the internal market.
“It is needful, in addition to other fields, agriculture and some others, to find a possibility to support the manufacturing industry in Kosova in different ways, respectively with investments in technology and in human capacities,” Imeri said.
