Around 1000 employees of Kosova Energy Corporation can be retired. The management of this corporation is planning to retire the workers who are over 55 years old in order to decrease the number of workers in this corporation. This announcement was sent to them by the director of KEK, Arben Gjukaj.
The Express newspaper has secured the letter that Gjukaj wrote to managers of this enterprise, where he made the request for early retirement of workers over 55 years old.
“Considering your request that you have old staff and who are not able to perform in accordance to your requests and their responsibilities, I instruct you and your managers to urge your staff over 55 years old to apply on the optional scheme for early retirement,” reads the letter of Gjukaj addressed to managers of the corporation. In addition, he requested for the workers to enter several tests and physical exercises. These exercises will be realized after April 14, when the interview of these workers will begin.
