Sale of goods from now on without certificate

In the directorate of Kosova Customs were issued certificates for import-export to businesses, which were initially registered in MTI and Kosova Tax Administration. Pursuant to provisions of customs code and excises over the registration of economic subjects it was decided that from 2 April 2012, all economic subjects that will be registered in the business registration agency and Kosova Tax Administration, they will not need to be registered I the business registration office in Kosova Customs.

The Kosova Customs will use the registration number for import-export of VAT, which is issued by the Kosova Tax Administration, for the needs of customs procedures and in order to keep track. Whereas, the registration procedure does not stop for the customs agencies, which will continue registration in accordance to article 11 of Customs Code and Excises of Kosova.

“By this action, the customs has continued creating facilitations for business in Kosova, and this will reduce the time that is needed to realize export-import. This is part of the reforms that happening in Kosova for creation of favorable environment for business,” said the director of Kosova Customs, Naim Huruglica.
