In addition to salaries, they said that since five years of privatization of the hotel, their pension contributions have not been paid.
This was said by the head of independent trade union Grand Hotel Prishtina, Mustafe Ahmeti. The amount that Berisha owes to workers is around 250 000 euro.
The timeline for realization of obligations of workers salaries is April 5, as well for an agreement with the representatives of trade union for payment of other pension obligations. Thus, if they will not be fulfilled until Friday, we will take another decision and we will explain our next measures, Ahmeti said.
They said that except of some halls, a small service with beverages and with only few guests, the hotel does not offer anything else.
Ahmeti said that they have invited Zelqif Berisha in the meeting that they held before setting the timeline, however he did not want to participate.
Yesterday we have contacted the owner and invited him to participate in the meeting of the trade union that was held today at 10:30, however he did not respond positively, Ahmeti said.
