The Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi said today that there was a misinformation and misinterpretation over his stance towards political talks with Serbia. He said that the political talks are not in the agenda of Prishtina, Washington and Brussels, however they can happen if there will be reciprocal recognition between Kosova and Serbia.
Thaçi repeated Kosovas approach for good neighboring policy with all countries of the region, adding that Prishtina does not oppose the meetings to discuss for technical issues with Serbia which request solution.

We will be accountable in international obligation that we have for technical issues. However, regarding the concrete issue that you asked, this could happen only as two sovereign states and to have reciprocal recognition. I want to make it clear that there is no political dialogue, it was a misinterpretation or different misinformation. We will respect the international obligations and I want this issue to be closed once and forever. Do not waste time on this issue, Thaçi said.
Thaçi continued with his evaluations that the best solution between Kosova and Serbia would be reciprocal recognition as two independent states, as in this way there would be faster integration in NATO and EU.
After being asked on the Google website, which was opened yesterday in Kosova in Serbian language, Thaçi said that there were technical issues, however institutions will make efforts in order for such issues not to happen anymore.
